Looking for:    Actors with classical training/experience, particularly Shakespearean. Roles available in The Comedy of Errors : Antipholus of Ephesus, Dromio of Syracuse, Dromio of Ephesus, Adriana, Luciana, Aegon, Abbess, Duke/Pinch, Courtesan, Angelo, Bathezar. (Antipholus of Syracuse has been pre-cast). Roles available in Amadeus : Constanze Weber, Joseph II, Count Franz Orsini-Rosenberg, Baron Gottfried Van Swieten, Venticelli 1 and 2, Majordomo. (Salieri and Mozart have been pre-cast). Roles available in The Compleat Works of Wllm Shkspr (Abridged) : Actors 1, 2, and 3. Roles available in King Lear : Goneril, Duke of Albany, Oswald, Regan, Duke of Cornwall, King of France, Duke of Burgandy, Earl of Kent, Fool, Edgar, Edmund, Curan, Old Man. (King Lear, Gloucester , and Cordelia have been pre-cast). Roles available in Private Lives : Amanda Prynne, Elyot Chase, Sybil Chase, Victor Prynne, Louise. Roles available in A Streetcar Named Desire : Stella DuBois, Mitch, Flores para los Muertos Woman/Nurse, Pablo, Doctor, Newspaper Boy. (Blanche DuBois, Stanley Kowalski have been pre-cast). Roles available in Romeo and Juliet : Escalus, Paris, Montague, Capulet, Older Capulet, Romeo, Tybalt, Mercutio, Benvolio, Friar Lawrence, Friar John, Balthasar, Abraham, Sampson, Gregory, Peter, Apothecary, Lady Montague, Lady Capulet, Juliet, Nurse.

Preparation:   Actors should prepare one 2-minute Shakespearean monologue, or two monologues [one Shakespearean and one classical (non-Shakespearean thru Tennessee Williams)] not to exceed three minutes. Monologues may be chosen from the shows listed in the season of desired. Please bring headshot/resumes to the audition.
