The Other Stage is back! The Theatre is thrilled to revive this
tradition, on hiatus since 1999, now at the beautiful Greek
amphitheatre at the College of St. Elizabeth, located at 2 Convent
Station in Morristown, at the Convent Station train stop. Don't
miss a rare staging of this hilarious tale about the most miserable
of all misanthropes, first performed in Greece, 317 BC, and
penned by the celebrated Athenian playwright Menander. A great
opportunity for families and friends to picnic al fresco and
see a wildly delightful morality tale, presented in an exciting
and unique setting inspired by the theatre of Dionysus, which
sits in the shadow of the great Acropolis in Athens.
Because this is an outdoor performance, the Theatre recommends
bringing a seat cushion and insect repellent to ensure your
comfort throughout the performance. Refreshments will also
be on sale at the amphitheatre for your convenience.
