DAVID FURR (King of Navarre) is in his first season with The Shakespeare Theatre. Most recently, he appeared on Broadway in the Tony Award-nominated production of KING LEAR with Christopher Plummer. Regional credits: the title role in HAMLET, Septimus in ARCADIA, Finney in IAGO, Proteus in TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA, Grumio in THE TAMING OF THE SHREW and Gunner in MISALLIANCE at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival; Det. Sgt. Trotter in THE MOUSETRAP at Pioneer Theatre; Christian in CYRANO and Andy Rally in I HATE HAMLET at The Cleveland Playhouse; Hamlet, Romeo, Prince Hal and other roles at North Carolina Shakespeare Festival; Hamlet for Colonial Theatre; Mercutio for Nebraska Shakespeare Festival, and other roles for Long Wharf Theatre, Connecticut's Shakespeare on the Sound, Virginia Stage Company, Charlotte Repertory, and others. Television: ALL MY CHILDREN. David lives in New York City, where he may occasionally be found playing guitar in the N.Y.C. subway system and in clubs around the city.
