ANDREW WEEMS (King John) is in his second season with The Shakespeare Theatre, previously appearing in RHINOCEROS, directed by Paul Mullins. Theatre For a New Audience credits: TROILUS AND CRESSIDA, directed by Sir Peter Hall, THE GREEN BIRD, directed by Julie Taymor, and CYMBELINE directed by Bartlett Sher, also performed at the Royal Shakespeare Company. Regional: PRINCESS TURANDOT at the Blue Light; ARMS AND THE MAN at Intiman; THE LEARNED LADIES at McCarter Theatre; John Guare's WOMAN AT A THRESHOLD; BECKONING at Ensemble Studio Theatre; MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING at Long Wharf; and A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM at The Acting Company. He is also the author and a performer of NAMASTE MAN, a far-flung tale. Mr. Weems's stage debut was in A THOUSAND CLOWNS in Kathmandu, Nepal.
