CRISTINE McMURDO-WALLIS (Queen Eleanor) is in her second season with The Shakespeare
Theatre. Credits with the company: the Nurse in ROMEO AND JULIET and Mistress
Quickly in MEASURE FOR MEASURE. Her most recent credits include THE LION IN WINTER
as Eleanor at the Indianapolis Rep and the premiere of NICKEL AND DIMED, directed
by Bartlett Sher at Intiman Theatre and Mark Taper Forum. She received Drama-Logue
Awards for ANGELS IN AMERICA, MILLENIUM APPROACHES and PERESTROIKA, directed by
Mark Wing-Davey at A.C.T., and COLLECTED STORIES at Berkeley Rep. She was also
seen in Mark Lamos's CYMBELINE at Hartford Stage and McCarter Theatre. Cristine
has appeared off-Broadway, off-off Broadway and at regional theatres from coast
