LAILA ROBINS (Constance) is in her seventh season with The Shakespeare Theatre. Company credits: THREE SISTERS, THE HOMECOMING, ELECTRA, THE COMEDY OF ERRORS, ARMS AND THE MAN, THE SEAGULL and TWELFTH NIGHT. Broadway: THE HERBAL BED, and THE REAL THING, opposite Jeremy Irons. Off-Broadway and national tours: MRS. KLEIN, opposite Uta Hagen, for which she received a Joseph Jefferson Award and a Helen Hayes nomination; THE FILM SOCIETY and TINY ALICE at Second Stage, which won a Lucille Lortell Award for Best Revival: THE MERCHANT OF VENICE at the Public Theatre for which she won a Calloway Award; and THE EXTRA MAN and BLOODY POETRY at Manhattan Theatre Club. Most recently, Laila's regional theatre credits have included HEDDA GABLER, SUMMER AND SMOKE, ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA and the world premiere of Arthur Miller's RESURRECTION BLUES at the Guthrie Theater; SKYLIGHT at the Mark Taper Forum, for which she won a Drama-Logue Award; A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE at Steppenwolf Theatre for which she won a Jefferson Award; FICTION and FOOL FOR LOVE at McCarter Theatre; THE WOMEN at Hartford Stage; and THE LADY FROM THE SEA at Baltimore Center Stage. She spent four summers at Williamstown Theater Festival. Film and television: SEARCHING FOR PARADISE; TRUE CRIME; OXYGEN; FEMALE PERVERSIONS; AN INNOCENT MAN; PLANES, TRAINS, AND AUTOMOBILES; WELCOME HOME, ROXY CARMICHAEL; GABRIEL'S FIRE opposite James Earl Jones; THE SOPRANOS; LAW AND ORDER; LAW AND ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT; LAW AND ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT; and many T.V. movies. Laila studied at the Yale School of Drama.
