WILLIAM DeMERITT (Citizen of Angiers) is in his first season with The Shakespeare
Theatre, having recently performed in MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING. Other credits include
THE RIVALS at the Abingdon Theatre, BENT and HAMLET at the Bridge Lane Theatre
in London, and staged readings of THE BASSET TABLE and THE ROVER. He has been
a member of Liz Swados's ensemble for three years, performing in BOOKS COOK at
the Scholastic Theatre and THE VIOLENCE PROJECT, which toured New York City public
schools before performances at the New York Stage and Film Festival and La MaMa
E.T.C. William received his B.F.A. in theatre from Marymount Manhattan College.
