JENNIFER PAULSON LEE (Choreographer) is in her third season with the Festival.
Her choreography credits include the Playwrights Theatre of N.J./Passage Theatre
production last fall of award-winning THE BOOK OF CANDY; the N.Y.C. and N.C. workshop
of LITTLE WOMEN, THE MUSICAL with director Nick Corley; ANNIE GET YOUR GUN at
Lincoln Center's Vivian Beaumont Theatre starring Patti LuPone, Peter Gallagher
and Eli Wallach with director Lonny Price; DEAR WORLD with Jerry Herman at the
Goodspeed Opera House; FINIAN'S RAINBOW (also at the Goodspeed and nominated for
Best Choreography by the Connecticut Critic's Circle while also dancing the role
of Susan-the-silent); Cameron Mackintosh's JUST SO at the Norma Terris Theatre;
LOLA for the Lark Theatre Co. N.Y.C.; A CHILD'S CHRISTMAS IN WALES (N.J.S.F. '98
and '99); STARS IN YOUR EYES (The Cherry Lane Theatre, off-B'way) FABLES IN SLANG
and last season's TINTYPES for the Obie Award-winning Melting Pot Theatre, HOUDINI,
ZORRO, GUYS AND DOLLS and many others. Miss Lee's directing credits include A
MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, AMANDA GREEN AT THE WESTBANK and I HEAR MUSIC (associate
director with B.T. McNicholl). As assistant director/choreographer with director
Gabriel Barre: JACQUES BREL IS ALIVE AND WELL* and SWEENEY TODD. She has danced
for and/or assisted many director/choreographers including Jerome Robbins, Susan
Stroman, Tina Paul, Alan Johnson, Gabriel Barre, Michele Assaf, Richard Sabellico,
Michael Shawn, Tony Stevens and Scott Salmon. Miss Lee's other outlet of creativity
is evidenced in holding two U.S.-issued patents with another patent-pending in
the field of cosmetics. She would like to thank Bonnie Monte and the entire creative
staff for their dedication, Gabe Barre, her two daughters and Will.
