MAGALY ROIG (Movement Consultant) is in her third season with the Festival. N.J.S.F.
choreography credits: THE GROUCH. Ms. Roig began dancing at the early age of three,
and has dance experience in tap, jazz, ballet, modern, pointe and hip-hop. She
has choreographed numerous musicals throughout New Jersey. She directed and choreographed
BLOOD WEDDING and IPHIGENIA at Drew University, both of which were performed at
the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, and created five major modern dances at Drew.
She was commissioned by former Governor Tom Kean to create an evening of dance
performed at the baccalaureate services for commencement of the class of 2000.
She joined the Festival in 2001 as assistant director for Bonnie J. Monte during
THE BLUE BIRD. Prior to that, she worked at Richard Frankel Productions. Her love
and thanks to her family and Michael.
