Enrico IV is an outstanding production with a brilliant cast.
Bonnie Monte's translation and direction are sheer perfection.
Michael Nichols performance is wonderfully intense. Michael
Stewart Allen and Jeff Bender provide the right amount of
levity. The night however, belongs to Sherman Howard. His
passionate performance is just plain awesome. If the Kirby
Theatre was located on Broadway, Mr. Howard would certainly
have a Tony on his mantle. Run to the box office for this
one!!

Incredible! Good acting, like good writing, tells the story
without getting in the way, and that's just what happenned
tonight. Pirandello's fascinating story lets you see the world
through the eyes of a madman, and through the eyes of the
so-called sane, while demonstrating the relativity of craziness.
Bonnie Monte's writing let the story come through, and the
powerful ensemble put it right in your lap. Sherman Howard's
portrayel of Enrico made me want to jump over the balcony
rail and onto the stage to help out. Thank you all for a wonderful
experience.

I read Edward Storer's translation of the play before coming
and was really impressed and amazed that you were able to
make this into a totally coherent and vibrant play. I hope
you are planning to publish your excellent version.
